and surroundings

Cerreto Sannita is a small town rebuilt in the '600 after a disastrous earthquake a few kilometers from Solopaca (Bn). It's better know for beautiful ceramical products which are made there from local artists.

Near Cerreto you will find the village of San Lorenzello, all this area is reknowed for its ceramics. It will not be difficult to visit the museum of ceramics and a few potters' workshops. We recommend BOTTEGA GIUSTINIANI in San Lorenzello.

  • Solopaca, the village where you are, is renowned for its wine production. You can visit the local wine cellar that collects the productions of more than 600 growers. The operators will be happy to offer you a tasting and, if you want, they can guide you in a visit of the cellar.

  • If you love mountain, Solopaca is situated at the foot of Mount Taburno, which has been a regional park for 10 years.

There you can find everything you need for a day in contact with nature. There are picnic posts, stations equipped with games for children, you can also go horse riding or take an adventure trail (suitable for everyone). Or simply enjoy the beautiful panorama that the mountain offers, with a breathtaking view over the whole valley. (Monte Taburno - Camposauro)
